a poem
Lord Nityananda (left) is actually Krishna’s bother, Balarama. Lord Chaitanya (right) is Krishna. Together they are God manifesting himself in two forms but in the guise of devotees to enjoy the happiness that devotees feel.
Lord Nityananda Rama’s lotus feet
Are like a million moons with cooling light.
They guide me as I fumble in the night
Of Maya’s world where pleasure is deceit.
Where darkness reigns in tyranny complete
May Nityananda’s grace restore my sight.
Lord Nityananda Rama’s lotus feet
Are like a million moons with cooling light.
They drive away samsara’s burning heat,
But like a beast, I struggle and I fight
As madness strikes me down with all its might.
When will I find the cooling light so sweet
Of Nityananda Rama’s lotus feet?
